Howard Sandler, MD, is principal investigator for a national Radiation Therapy Oncology Group study examining radiotherapy and chemotherapy for prostate cancer. He recently led a clinical trial grant funded by the National Institutes of Health to investigate novel radiation targeting strategies for prostate cancer. Dr. Sandler's studies also include evaluating the quality of life of prostate cancer patients following surgery and radiation therapy.
